Matt is a theatrical designer specializing in lighting but with experience in many facets of design including sound, projections and scenery. He resides with his family in the Providence, RI area and works as a freelance designer for schools and organizations in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts.

Matt began designing lighting for local organizations in high school and spent several years working as an overhire stagehand for a variety of events across Rhode Island. His work has been nominated for two Broadway World Regional Awards, in 2019 and 2022, winning one.

When he’s not designing lighting, Matt works full-time as a web developer. He is also an experienced performer and musician, bringing his deep understanding of music and performance to the other side of the tech table.
